Accounts and community from day one
A site can be more than a storefront: a place readers return to, sign in to and get more from. The accounts module is in Sigma from day one - you switch it on when your strategy is ready for it.
A reader creates an account in a minute and never memorizes another password - they sign in with a code from an e-mail message. They manage their profile, marketing consents and account deletion themselves. On your side there is no extra administration and no external sign-in providers.
From anonymous traffic to an audience of your own
You mark selected content as available after signing in. A guest sees a teaser - exactly enough to want more - and an invitation to create an account. That is how anonymous traffic turns into a contact base, and a contact base into a community that returns out of habit, not by accident.
An audience of your own is capital that no algorithm change can take away. Social media reach rises and falls with other people's decisions - the list of signed-in readers remains yours and works for every future publication.
- Sign-in with a code, no passwords to remember
- Access tiers for paid content
- The profile and consents in the reader's hands
Premium zones, when the time comes
Access tiers let you sell content: courses, archives, club materials. A reader without the tier receives a clear note about what is missing and a link to the offer - an invitation instead of a closed door. More about how it looks from both sides in the article “Members-only content and premium zones”.
You match the revenue model to your stage of growth: first a newsletter and members-only content, later paid tiers. A change of strategy does not require a change of tools - the same content, the same editor, a different visibility decision.
Until then the module simply waits: it does not show up for readers, needs no attention and complicates nothing. A site that is a business card today can be a subscribers' club tomorrow - without moving to another platform.
